The alpha version was found by Chris of the DHW community, and has been available to download for a while. A few years ago 3DRealms found the original design documents for ROTT, when it was a planned sequel to Wolfenstein 3D. In 2004, Ian Franken started Wolf-Bytes as a newsletter to share Wolfenstein 3D news, reviews, community interviews and more. Three issues came out, and they are a good read. (1) (2) (3) Corridor 7 -a game based on Wolf3D’s engine- had a planned sequel that never released. Mishran’s Corridor 7 Fanpage was sent a copy of the unreleased Corridor 8’s source code, and accompanying design documents. An interesting slice of history. In the Nineties, wikis full of indepth information weren’t readily available to people.
