Wolfenstein 3D Part 2: Rise of the Triad
A few years ago 3DRealms found the original design documents for ROTT, when it was a planned sequel to Wolfenstein 3D.
In 2004, Ian Franken started Wolf-Bytes as a newsletter to share Wolfenstein 3D news, reviews, community interviews and more. Three issues came out, and they are a good read. (1) (2) (3)

Corridor 8
Corridor 7 -a game based on Wolf3D’s engine- had a planned sequel that never released. Mishran’s Corridor 7 Fanpage was sent a copy of the unreleased Corridor 8’s source code, and accompanying design documents. An interesting slice of history.

Spear of Destiny

In the Nineties, wikis full of indepth information weren’t readily available to people. Instead, Wolf3D fans had The Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny FAQ, a long and constantly revised text file of information collected and shared with the community
